There are countless ways to make a difference at GEM Adult Day Services. Whether you plant in our Memory Garden, lead a craft activity, play music or simply chat with participants, your skills are needed. Opportunities are available for individuals and groups. Volunteer for a one-time project or on an ongoing basis; every contribution is meaningful.

  • "It" is wanting to make a difference in the life of an adult with dementia or physical limitations.

Examples of Volunteer Opportunities:

Activity Assistant - Provide individual attention to participants during activities such as crafts and baking.
Garden Volunteer - Help maintain the Memory Garden by planting, watering and weeding.
Administrative Volunteer - Help with the newsletter, press releases and other publications.
Trip Volunteer - Help participants when going on day trips to local attractions or restaurants.
Entertainer - Play music for our participants.
Special Event Volunteer - Help coordinate and prepare for events such as concerts, yard sales, open houses or community workshops.
